it comes to shop insurance, our team
really come into their own.
We
have access to some excellent package
style polices that cover the majority
of the risks shopkeepers will need.
These policies are rated purely on
the value of your buildings and contents
and automatically include many worthwhile
sections, which would be expensive
if insured individually.
The standard of cover
under these sections will vary between
underwriters, but you can normally
expect they will meet the needs of
most businesses:
| Policy

package sums insured can also be
increased to suit your individual
requirements.
As
well as the major UK insurers, we
have access to specialist Lloyds
underwriters who have taken a different
approach to shop insurance. They
have realised that many shops in
high-theft risk areas have had several
years of upgrading their security
measures as required by the traditional
insurers. Consequently, these shops
now prove to have excellent security
features and have become unlikely
to be targeted by thieves.
As
a result they have introduced a
rating structure that is not influenced
by your post code. Whether your
shop is located in the middle of
the countryside, or in the middle
of a major city centre, they will
charge the same premium. The cost
savings this produces for the town
and city centre retailers can be
dramatic.
